HANSA Timber Trade is an international timber agency and wood manufacturer that specialises in Latvian timber products and has been in operation since 2006. The tradition of forestry in Latvia goes back for centuries and that is true also for the HANSA Timber Trade family.

As a boy, Arvids, the initiator and founder of HANSA Timber trade, followed his father’s Egils Abolins (1928-2014) footsteps, who was also the Golden Pine Lifetime Achievement Award winner for investing 48 years in the forest industry. With his infectious care and attitude towards nature, work and people, Egils has been a true inspiration for many. We, as his children and grandchildren, are proud to carry out his heritage and expand within this industry and its sustainable processes the way our ancestors did.

We pay great respect to wood and to the people who take part in its preservation and usage. Years of experience working with like-minded people who share the love for forestry, motivates us to keep investing time, energy and money in development of production, quality control and delivery service.

Commitment to work or work commitment is defined as the level of enthusiasm an employee has towards his/her tasks assigned at a workplace. It is the feeling of responsibility that a person has towards the goals, mission, and vision of the organization he/she is associated with.
